These programmes give engineers and science graduates the additional skills needed to help them find jobs. Over the past five years 300 jobseekers have completed the *Certificate in Quality Engineering & Diploma in Performance Competence programme.
This year we are also running The Bachelors in Science in Quality and Regulatory affairs – also certified by University of Limerick, this is a top-up degree for persons who already hold an NFQ Level 7 (ordinary) degree (180 ects) plus 3 years of relevant work experience.
*If you have already successfully completed the Certificate in Quality Engineering stand alone module you will be exempt from this module if you are successful in your application for The Bachelors in Science in Quality and Regulatory affairs course.
82% of previous course participants crossed over into the Medtech Sector by securing placements, and/or full time employment in the hi-tech sector after successfully completing this programme.
Examples of just some of the careers in the hi-tech sector include; quality inspector, chemist; engineer, QA /QC inspector, design engineer, quality assurance engineer, junior R&D engineer, documentation specialist, validation specialist, manufacturing engineer, quality technician and customer project manager.
During the directed training portion of the programme candidates will be in a position to retain any social welfare entitlements they are entitled to.
